Let’s say you spend 2 hours in the gym during a normal week. That’s a pretty huge amount of time on its own, and even more so when it’s a few days before a deadline.

In case you were too busy to remember, you can split those 2 hours. It could be an hour on two different times, or 30 minutes on four. In any case, be sure to explain the situation to your trainer, so he can help you maintain your efficiency as much as possible with the changed schedule.

Have a Chat with Your Boss

 There’s nothing wrong with having a talk with your boss regarding your dedication to fitness and consistency.

For starters, you can make a deal with him that in exchange for letting you get out an hour early, you’ll work an extra hour and a half the day after. Sure, you’ll be working an extra hour, but that’s way better than wasting your energy stressing over whether you can visit the gym this week, right?

Once you’re done with your workout, your mind will become clearer, and not a single second of those 30 minutes will go to waste. Your boss might even commend you for a job well done.

Integrate Exercise Into Your Work Schedule

 Even before gyms were built, exercise was already largely practiced. As long as you have body weight, you have a means to work out.

There’s nothing wrong with doing a few reps of push-ups before taking a shower, or do a few reps of lifting dumbbells when you’re sitting down in the office concentrating. Taking a walk during lunch works, too.

The important thing is that you’re still keeping your body active, despite the stress you have at work. Regardless of how long you won’t be able to visit the gym, your body will be ready. You’re not running on a treadmill or hitting a punching bag, but you’re maintaining your body at a healthy level. That’s what matters.
