Is your house a mess? Need to clean it fast? You might think that you don’t have enough time to clean up, but that’s where you’re wrong, here we have outlined some of the few tips and tricks for cleaning a house quickly. It is great when you’re expecting some company over in a few hours.

Before everything else

Start your cleaning agenda with some lively music to jump start your clean up day. While picking up all the clutter, check to see if there are items you can donate or recycle. It helps to reduce any unwanted garbages or waste in the house.

Always start from the top

Whichever room you’re cleaning, always start from top to bottom. If you begin at the bottom first, the dust and dirt from the upper areas will fall to the floor, and you’ll have to do everything from the start. Avoid cleaning all over again by cleaning the higher surfaces first. Your last step will consist of cleaning the floors.

Cleaning the bedroom

First, make the bed and straighten the sheets. Gather all the clutter and place them in a spare bin for another time to organize and hide them in a corner where nobody else will see. Use a microfiber cloth and dusting spray to clean the furniture. And don’t forget to wipe the top first going to the bottom.

Bathroom

In one trip, remove all the clutter from the bathroom, spray all counters, and clean the toilets. Afterwards, rinse your tub and wipe the mirrors. Scrub the sink. Make sure to wipe the vanity countertop. Lastly, clean the kitchen floors. Make sure to replace the wastebaskets, rugs and bath mat with clean ones.

Dining Room and Living Room

Start by clearing all the clutter. Then, dust all surfaces including the furniture, ceiling fans, and blinds. Vacuum upholstered furniture, floorings, and carpets. Don’t forget to do some window cleaning and make sure they’re all sparkling.

Kitchen

Prepare hot soapy water and fill the sink with it. Put some water on stovetops that have removable burner pieces. Don’t forget to declutter the counter. Wipe counters, cabinets, and another surface with a sponge dunked in hot water. It will help remove more dirt. Start wiping from top to bottom.

After cleaning, rinse the sponge using hot water. Also, wipe appliances and stove pieces. Soak the stove drip knobs and pans in the sink. Clean around and inside of the microwave and sink. Then, clean the floors.

Floors

Work your way back when you vacuum the carpets to avoid getting dirt on the already cleaned parts. Plus, it helps save time when you avoid overlapping. It’s better to use a vacuum in cleaning hard floors instead of sweeping. It will help remove the dust accumulation in the corners and prevent any allergies.

You’re now done! Congratulations. You have now successfully cleaned your house at lightning speed. You’ll be sure that by the time your guests arrive, the house is spotless and clean. Now, party and celebrate.
